(Mplayer)-> (Parent)->mplayer convert wma to pcm raw audio |

to convert a .wma audio file ( like the ones my insgina portable makes ) into a raw pcm audio file (one that audacity can edit) I use this command:
mplayer -ao pcm -vc dummy fmrc115.wma
This creates a file audiodump.wav which audacity can open and edit. You can also convert this just about whatever you want using various tools.
Normaly when this comes up is when I have audio recorded from the radio and I want to extract just one part of it.
