Thanks for the code. Works beautifully... except for two small things. I was uploading from WinXP to Unix, and the wget I had installed with UWIN on the PC didn't handle --post-file properly, so I Googled and got a better wget.
ALSO, it worked fine for text files, but jpgs were slightly corrupted. But adding the line binmode(IN); right after open(IN, $name); does the trick!
