Google found me this Extract fonts from a pdf file using font forge Warning, it's a hideously ugly website.
steps:
- install fontforge
- run fontforge
- on open font screen change pdf to "extract from pdf"
- select encoding ->compact
- Edit font info if required
- file->generate fonts (use ttf font format)
