Rules to StarForce's Contest to prove they don't damage systems the problem is that this is an attempt to debunk the claim that they Physicly damage a computer's drives. The informed claim, is that they install drivers that interfere with the computers operation. So they claim it isn't true, and offer $10,000 to prove it. But they won't offer to disprove the real problem. (because they can't)
A tool to bypass starforce I havn't needed this because I don't intend to buy any starforce infected games. So I don't know if it works
I have to hope that the truth will get out on these guys. Sony took a small hit for it's "root kit" and I think this attitude that "you put my disk in your computer, so I can install anything I want, no matter how opressive, without your permission" has got to stop. I don't care if it is Music CDs or computer software. There is no excuse to punishing the legimate user, for what a criminal Might do. See my comments on "the analog hole"
