So I had presented the default comment in <plaintext> but while at a friends
house, I saw how the page rendered on IE, Aparenrly <plaintext> is depreceated,
but IE actually does something worse with it, in that it goes INTO plaintext mode,
but doesn't seem to come out of it.
Today I changed to use the "pre" field block. there still might be some code somewhere that uses the plaintext.
and now I had to edit this comment cause the code in it broke the text below it ;-)
