to get a list of RPMs installed on your system, use the commands listed here
For mplayer, here are the rpms I installed
lame-3.93.1-1.i386.rpm

mplayer-0.90-1.athlon.rpm
mplayer-codecs-win32-mjpeg2k-1.0-2.i386.rpm
mplayer-common-0.90-1.athlon.rpm
mplayer-font-iso1-1.0-3.noarch.rpm
mplayer-font-iso2-1.0-3.noarch.rpm
mplayer-font-iso9-1.0-3.noarch.rpm
mplayer-font-koi8r-1.0-3.noarch.rpm
mplayer-gui-0.90-1.athlon.rpm
mplayer-skin-default-1.0-2.noarch.rpm
mplayer-tools-0.90-1.athlon.rpm
Not sure if all of these are needed, but this does satisfy the RPM dependency requirements.
still : I do get this error from them:
warning: only V3 signatures can be verified, skipping V4 signature
I don't know if that means anything. The packages work after install. Is
there a newer version of rpm ( newer than on rhat 9.0) that supports some
newer signature format??
