So here is where I finally got some
success. reinstalled ffmpeg
and nvrec and glory glory
I have ffmpeg recording full screen video with live compression on the
new box.
The problem is that I had to install obsolete software to do it. I
really wanted to avoid that. so essentially now I *CAN'T* upgrade this
video capture box.
I had really hoped this document would be a good starting point for a
"HOWTO" but I feel that this makes it more of a dead end.
System description.
amd 2.2gig
256 meg ddr ram
MSI ( via chips) motherboard.
5gig hard drive ( boot)
40 gig hard drive ( capture )
Rhat 7.3
2.4.19 kernel
